His indecision has been tied to his long term admiration of McCain’s military track record as well as his allegiance to the Republican Party. Even with all of this, Powell called Obama “a transformational figure” and “a president who will not just continue…basically the policies we have followed in recent years.”

Powell stated that electing an African American president would be “electrifying,” but he reiterated that he is not supporting Obama because of his race, but because of his policies and ability to deal with the economic problems facing the country.

I’m Having a Relapse

Eminem announced the 4th quarter release of his next album, I’m Having a Relapse. The announcement came on his Shade 45 Sirius Satellite Radio show with DJs Kayslay and Angela Yee. The release date has yet to be confirmed, however Interscope and Eminem are prepping for a November release date. Based off of Eminem’s track record, expect a platinum selling album. Then again times are tough out here with the economy and the music industry has changed dramatically since his last release in 2005.
