Let me give you some background about this joint venture between TAG and Jermaine Dupri, in case you haven’t heard. In an effort to increase its brand awareness and relationships with the urban community, TAG (product of Proctor and Gamble) has teamed up with JD to create a record label. This venture is an incredible step for product marketing and the record industry. Long story short, the marketing and promotion funds for a TAG artist is going to signficantly dwarf any promotion currently available from other record labels.

TAG announced the first artist signed to the label….
